Preparations for the 6th International Banking Congress are continuing at full speed with institutional collaborations and protocol visits.

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Congress Term President and Dean of Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Özgür Topkaya and Organizing Committee President Prof. Dr. Nur Dilbaz Alacahan visited Çanakkale Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Toraman at his office.

Collaboration and Regional Contributions Discussed

During the visit, details of the congress, which will be hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University between May 7-9, 2026, were shared. The main topics discussed were as follows:

Governorate Support: Potential strategic collaborations with the Çanakkale Governorate during the congress were evaluated.

Regional Promotion: Ideas were exchanged on the academic, cultural, and economic contributions that the event would make to Çanakkale and the region.
