Dear Academicians, Scholars, Sector Representatives and Stakeholders,

The “6th International Banking Congress”, which we will organize for the sixth time this year, will be held in Çanakkale between May 7-9, 2026, hosted by Biga Faculty of Applied Sciences, with the participation of many scholars at national and international levels. We will be honored to see you among us and to be together at our Congress, where valuable academicians, sector representatives and other stakeholders will participate with their work.

The theme of the Congress this year has been determined as “Cyber ​​Resilience and Digital Security: The New Priority of Banking”. Unprecedented increases have occurred in e-commerce transaction volume during the COVID-19 period. The banking sector has been positively affected by the increase in e-commerce and has brought the increase and development of digital banking applications to the agenda. Because, the continuous developments in the field of nanotechnology and chips bring security vulnerabilities to the agenda in the activities carried out by the banking sector in the electronic environment. It is anticipated that artificial intelligence-supported applications will pose both a potential and a threat in terms of cybersecurity. Another development in this field is that quantum computers are expected to become the dominant technology in the coming years. The effects of this technology on encryption systems in the banking sector will also be discussed within the scope of the Congress.

We believe that this congress, which will include bankers and participants from various universities in Turkey, will be an important platform for communication between academics and bankers, revealing joint work opportunities and developing advanced established scientific values ​​in the field. At the same time, many synergistic collaborations will emerge in this event where practitioners, academics and other external stakeholders will come together.
